Kenneth Ong is a medical student from the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada, who is presenting research on the spatial recurrence pattern of fully resected grade 1 meningiomas. Prior to medical school, he completed a bachelors of neuroscience and worked for the local health authority in integrating large scale patient data systems to support patient care. His current research focus includes neuro-oncology on meningiomas and gliomas. His other interests including evaluating the effects of traumatic brain injury and the efficacy of various types of supports for vulnerable populations
