Dr. Wuyang Yang, MD, MS is currently a PGY6 neurosurgery resident at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. He completed medical training in Capital Medical University, Beijing, China in 2008, and trained for 2 years in Cerebrovascular Neurosurgery in Beijing Tiantan Hospital with Professor Jizong Zhao. He then pursued a master degree in Health Science Informatics in Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine under mentorship of Dr. Harold Lehmann with focus on clinical decision making. He then completed a 1-year postdoctoral fellowship in Radiation Oncology with Dr. Todd McNutt to work on automated radiation planning. Since 2013, he started working with Dr. Judy Huang as postdoctoral fellow and worked on brain AVM, aneurysm, carotid stenosis, Moyamoya clinical research. He matched in neurosurgery residency in 2017 at Johns Hopkins. He will be completing a dual trained enfolded fellowship at Johns Hopkins, and after graduation will be joining U Florida to complete additional year of endovascular training.
