Dr. Mahmoud Magdi Elsayed was born in Fujairah, UAE and is a graduate of Mansoura University. He obtained his advanced medical degree (MD) at Mansoura Faculty of Medicine in Egypt as first-generation (FG) medical student graduate. His residency, in Neurosurgery, is currently at Mansoura Specialized Hospital (MSH). In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family/friends, PlayStation and supporting The Egyptian King (Mo-Salah).
Dr. Elsayed has ten years’ experience in clinical research and volunteer work, with special interest in public health, global neurosurgery, neuro-ophthalmology and supporting people with disability by volunteering and enhance quality healthcare. He has done remarkable work in volunteer and research activities where he received multiple awards for.
Since 2014, he started new challenge and built with his colleagues a non-profit organization called Mansoura University Scholar Society (MUSS). He participated and organized multiple events and campaigns, presenter at International NGO event and he published 18 national and international abstracts at high prestige conferences plus two scientific papers. This year, after couple of years of hard working, he elected as a youngest deputy hospital director at MSH and become a board member of post-graduate medical education at Mansoura Faculty of Medicine for clinical medical research program. In addition to his surgical practice, he enjoys the acutely evolving nature of this field, so he conducts a new mentorship program for his hospital's workers for first time that aim to manage their stress and brain load at workplace.
Dr. Mahmoud is a member of the Egyptian Academy of Neurosurgery, and a member of MUSS, CNS, AANS, ASCRS, EGOS, EVEx and ACS. He eagers to be a Neurosurgery Scientist – Physician of an established and prestigious Hospital/University in USA with good potential for future growth along with spreading awareness amongst the masses for the various ways to maintain hygiene and good health for all.
Dr. Mahmoud resides in Mansoura, Egypt with his family, and enjoys life with his two brothers. He likes car driving, travel, cooking, reading, and spending time outdoors.
