Evan Courville, M.D., is a postgraduate trainee at the University of New Mexico. Dr. Courville holds a B.S and B.S.M.E from Louisiana State University as well as an M.D. from Louisiana State University Health and Sciences Center in New Orleans, Louisiana. His primary research interest are in line with bolstering quality improvement strategies focusing on risk assessment and perioperative care coordination for neurosurgical patients. He is currently a member of Dr. Bowers’ Frailty and Neurosurgical Outcomes Data Science Lab. Other interests include technological advancements in healthcare systems for the improvement of overall patient safety and value of care. He is also involved in mentoring rising medical students at all levels, helping them identify and complete research projects.
