Sage P. Rahm, M.D., is currently a neurosurgery resident physician at The University of Alabama at Birmingham. He was born in Upper Peninsula Michigan and moved to Wisconsin, New Mexico, and Texas before settling down in Rome, Italy for his teenage years. Fascinated by the brain and how people think, he completed a BA in Neuroscience at Penn. After college, he worked as a research assistant at The Rockefeller University exploring the neuroscience of drug abuse, taught English at a community center in Salvador, Brazil, and volunteered at a homeless shelter in Port Antonio, Jamaica before attending medical school at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia. Throughout medical school, Dr. Rahm continued to volunteer at several shelters around Philadelphia and now enjoys serving all of his patients at UAB.
