Originally from Ajloun, Jordan, Alina Ghazou, a medical student at Jordan University of Science and Technology.
She is an undergraduate interested in neuroscience research. After attending a small research training program held by students at her university, she realized the importance of research alongside clinical practice, which is not that well recognized in her country. She developed her skills in statistical analysis and medical writing and got the chance to participate in multiple research projects after that.
"Seizures in meningioma" was the topic that drove her towards neuro-related research, and it is the reason she is attending the AANS meeting. Her current focus is to dig deeper into data analysis, specifically bioinformatics and brain analysis. and to explore her interest in neuro-related fields.
