Dr. Brian Nahed is a Neurosurgeon specializing in brain tumors at the Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School where he serves as the Director of the Neurosurgical Residency Program. He has developed innovative brain mapping and intraoperative imaging techniques. His research focuses on developing the first blood test to diagnose and monitor brain tumors. He published the first evidence of circulating tumor cells in the blood of patients with glioblastoma. Together with Dr. Stott, Dr Nahed runs an NIH funded laboratory developing liquid biopsy test for brain tumors patients.
