Nathaniel ("Nate") Cleri is a fourth-year medical student at the Renaissance School of Medicine at Stony Brook University. Upon completing his third year in medical school, he began a research gap year as the National Science Foundation and Daniel Egnor Research Fellow in the Mofakham-Mikell Neurosurgery lab at the RSOM. During his research year, he is mainly investigating traumatic brain injury and return to consciousness following TBIs. Upon completion of his research year, he plans on applying to neurosurgery residency.
