Neurosurgery Resident

Ryan Sandarage is a first-year neurosurgery resident at University of Ottawa. His research is under the supervision of Dr. Eve Tsai, assessing the differences between human, porcine, and rodent neural stem and progenitor cells. He did his undergraduate studies at the University of Ottawa, doing his undergraduate in Dr. Tsai's lab, and medical school at the University of British Columbia. His interests in neurosurgery include spine and vascular. Outside of the hospital, he enjoys spending time with his fiancée and two cats, cooking, painting, and building Lego Star Wars sets
