About me: I grew up in San Diego, California, and I attended the University of California - Irvine where I played water polo and majored in biology and chemistry. After a two-year hiatus working as a lab tech at UCSF, I completed my M.D. and Ph.D. degrees at the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science. I am currently a PGY-5 in the neurosurgery department at the Mayo Clinic. I am completing an enfolded endovascular fellowship with plans to complete an enfolded skull base oncology as a PGY-7 and a post-graduate open cerebrovascular fellowship with Dr. John Russin at USC from 2025-26. My interests outside of neurosurgery include spending time with my wife, Missy, and our children, Nora and Caleb, as well as exercising and cooking.
