John Bolger is a 2nd year medical student at Drexel University College of Medicine, Class of 2025. After receiving a BS in Neuroscience from Muhlenberg College in 2015, John was trained as an Emergency Medical Technician. He went on to work as a clinical coordinator for an Oral Maxillofacial surgeon in Long Island, NY, before transitioning to work as a patient advocate and care coordinator for various healthcare systems in the tri-state area. Prior to his matriculation to medical school, John worked as a surgical lab technician in the lab of Dr. Anthony Zador at Cold spring Harbor Laboratories. This past summer John was the recipient of the Neurosurgery Summer Internship Scholarship at Allegheny Health Network Department of Neurosurgery, where he conducted the work being presented at AANS 2023 under the mentorship of Dr. Richard Williamson.
