Dr. Hannah Gilder, MD, started her training in the field of neuroscience as an undergraduate student at Tulane University, where she graduated summa cum laude with a B.S. in neuroscience and Spanish. She attended medical school at Mayo Medical School in Rochester, Minnesota, and remained at her home institution for residency training. She is now a fifth-year neurosurgery resident at Mayo Clinic Rochester and is spending her research year as a global neurosurgery research fellow in the Paul Farmer Program in Global Surgery and Social Change based out of Harvard Medical School. She has a special interest in both pediatric neurosurgery and global neurosurgery.
