I was born and raised in a small village in Lebanon. In 2013 I joined the medical school at Saint Joseph University – Beirut and graduated in 2020. Right after, I started my surgery residency in Lebanon and finished my first year. In September 2021 I joined the Wisconsin Hydrocephalus Project team at the University of Wisconsin – Madison to pursue my research fellowship, under the mentorship of Dr. Bermans J. Iskandar. As a member of the WHP, my research focuses on studying the different physiologic parameters affecting shunts function and trying to understand the reason behind the high rate of shunts failure.
