Janet Yi Jen Ho is a dedicated neurosurgical resident currently in her fourth year of training at Hualien Tzu Chi Hospital. As a graduate of Tzu Chi University and an MD, Janet has pursued her interest in neurosurgery with a humble and diligent approach.
With a focus on functional neurosurgery and pain management, Janet's research and publications have centered around a variety of topics, including normal pressure hydrocephalus, blood-brain barrier breakdown related to small vessel disease and hydrocephalus, functional MRI, pain managements and minimal invasive spine surgery. Janet is grateful for the opportunities she has had to learn and grow in her field, and she is honored to have presented her research at several conferences.
Janet is deeply committed to providing the highest quality care to her patients. She is dedicated to their well-being and takes pride in helping them achieve the best possible outcomes. Her gentle and compassionate bedside manner has earned her the trust and respect of her patients and colleagues alike.
Outside of her professional work, Janet is an active volunteer with the Buddhist Compassion Relief Tzu Chi Foundation's free clinic, where she provides medical care to underserved communities in her area. She finds great fulfillment in giving back to others and considers it an honor to be able to use her skills and knowledge to help those in need.
Looking to the future, Janet is eager to continue her work in neurosurgery and contribute to the advancement of her field. She remains grateful for the support and guidance of her mentors and colleagues, and she hopes to continue learning and growing in her role as a neurosurgeon.
