Gregory Murtha, MD is a Neurosurgery Resident at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. He is a native of San Jose, California, and graduated from the United States Naval Academy in 2018 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry with a focus in Biochemistry. At the Naval Academy he was selected for Navy Medical Corps and after graduation attended the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences for medical school. He graduated from medical school in 2022 having been selected to train in Neurosurgery at UT San Antonio. Gregory will proudly serve a career as a Navy physician upon completion of his residency training. He is excited to explore the many different areas of neurosurgery and hopes to be involved with graduate medical education in his future career.
