Karashash Menlibayeva is a head of Hospital Management Department at the National Centre for Neurosurgery and a researcher of a Brain Tumor research project. Born in Kazakhstan in 1991, she developed an interest in medicine at a young age. She pursued her passion by Bachelor of Public Health at the Astana Medical University in Kazakhstan. After she completed her postgraduate degree at the School of Medicine of King’s College London, Karashash began working at the National Centre for Neurosurgery, Astana, where she focused on hospital management and neurosurgery, particularly vascular neurosurgery and brain tumors.
Karashash has received numerous awards and honors for her work, including Bolashaq international scholarship and Professor Littlejohn’s Award at King’s College. She has also authored five of publications and presented seven papers at conferences worldwide.
Karashash is committed to create a BioBank of brain tumors in Central Asia, and she looks forward to continuing to contribute to the Glial Tumor Research in the future.
