Ari Kappel is currently a 5th year neurosurgery resident at Brigham and Women's Hospital and Boston Children's Hospital and enfolded cerebrovascular fellow. He completed his undergraduate degree in neuroscience and physiology at the University of California, San Diego and his medical degree at SUNY Stony Brook in Long Island, NY. He is interested in the mechanisms of cerebrovascular disease in both pediatric and adult patients including stroke, aneurysms, AVMs, and moyamoya disease.
