Rose Caston is a graduate student in the M.D., Ph.D. (biomedical engineering) program at the University of Utah. Rose is interested in the electrophysiological properties of psychiatric and neurological diseases and how perturbations can improve clinical outcomes. Her current research uses signal processing to understand cerebral pain networks. Rose leads the Scientific and Development Committee for the American Medical Women’s Association, serves on the Univ. of Utah MD-PhD Steering Committee, and is the current MD-PhD Student Body Representative.
